A ‘Workshop and Consultation on NAAC Assessment and Accreditation’ was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Government Hnahthial College, on 10th September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Government Hnahthial College. The programme was attended by 17 participants (10 male and 7 female).

    The programme was chaired by Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal, Government Hnahthial College, who highlighted the importance of continuous preparation, systematic documentation, and institutional readiness for the NAAC Assessment and Accreditation process. 

    As the Resource Person, Dr. K. Lalzuimawia, Coordinator, IQAC, Government Hnahthial College, delivered a presentation on the theme “NAAC Reforms 2024 – Binary Accreditation Framework (BAF)”. The presentation focused on the major features and requirements of the new accreditation framework, with particular emphasis on the Binary Accreditation Framework and the strategies to be adopted by the College for effective preparation.

    The session also provided an opportunity for participants to discuss the new NAAC assessment and accreditation process, documentation requirements, institutional preparedness, and the roles and responsibilities of various Committees/Cells in strengthening the quality assurance and accreditation process of the College.
