The Red Ribbon Club of Government Hnahthial College, in collaboration with the National Health Mission (NHM) and Doctors Against HIV/AIDS, successfully organised an HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign cum Comprehensive Health Check-up on 15 October 2026 at the Government Hnahthial College Auditorium, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dr. Goldy S. Ngorili, Gynaecologist, along with her team, delivered an informative talk on HIV/AIDS awareness. She highlighted the importance of being proactive, raising awareness, and taking preventive measures to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS.

The Screening & Health Check Up service by Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre (ICTC) & National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme  (NTEP) teams from District Hospital, Hnahthial, conducted screening and health check-ups for a total of 99 students and faculty members. The services included HIV and syphilis screening, blood pressure measurement, blood sugar testing, and tuberculosis (TB) screening.
