A Two-Day Training on Digital Literacy for Rural Youth was jointly organized by the State Extension Training Center (ETC), Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (SIRD&PR), Lunglei, and the Teaching & Learning Cell, Government Hnahthial College during 9th–10th March, 2026 at the Government Hnahthial College Auditorium. Mr. K. Lalremruata, Faculty of ETC, SIRD&PR, Mizoram, served as the resource person. He highlighted the features and important components of present-day digital life and also created awareness about various acts and rules under the Information Technology framework. Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal of the College, also delivered a short speech encouraging participants to utilize digital technology responsibly and effectively. The training programme was attended by 67 students and faculty members of the College.
