Capacity Building on 'Training to Refugee Women on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Related Concerns' have been conducted by Protection Programme Management Team, ADRA, Hnahthial in partnership with District Child Protection Unit, Hnahthial &   Dept. Of Geography, Govt College Hnahthial 10^th October 2023 Horeb Hall, Electric veng, Hnahthial.The programme was host by Ruthi Lalnunthari, Field Coordinator ADRA, Sobha Jose, Protection & WASH Coordinator delivered an introductory speech. Dr. Lalrinpuia Vangchhia, Asst. Professor, Department of Geography has presented a paper entitled 'Awareness on Women Empowerment & Gender Based Violence'. Awareness on Child Protection related concerns, challenges, available services in the district has been delivered by Ms. R. Lalramdinmawii, DCPO, Hnahthia. Sobha Jose delivered a speech on Understanding SGBV, significant role of women in combating SGBV  & distribution of GBV pocket guide in Burmese language. 'Understanding the community-based structure & Systems (PWG&CFS) established by ADRA under the PHAMM Project 2023' has been delivered by  Ruthi Lalnunthari. More than 60 Myanmar refugees  attend the programme and having a good Questions and discussions time. the functions was closed with the vote of thanks proposed by B.Lallawmchhunga, Camp Coordinator.
