National Service Scheme (NSS), Govt. Hnahthial College and UD&PA Department of Hnahthial District have a joint program named as  Swachh Surveksan on 16th September, 2022. Cleanliness drive was served from Rallang Tlang to Ropuiliani Square covering 3 kilometers approximately. There was a short opening functions in starting of the program. Mr. R. Lalremsanga, Deputy Commissioner of the District had a speech. After that, Jeje Lalpekhlua, ambassador of Clean and Green Brigade Hnahthial and chief guest of the program opened the drive. More than 100 NSS volunteers have participated in the drive under the supervision of the Nodal Officers such as Mr. David Laltanpuia Hmar (District NSS Program Officer) and Mr. Malsawmtluanga Colney (Program Officer, NSS Unit, GHC).
