Students' Orientation for 2023-2024 academic session has organized by Curricular Aspect Cell of Govt. Hnahthial College on 7th July, 2023. The function was started in the College Auditorium at 1:00 pm. The program was chaired by Mrs. Rinchungnungi, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics. Welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal. He overview the College profile and welcome the fresher students. Dr. K.Lalzuimawia, Asst. Professor, Department of History and IQAC coordinator presented NEP 2020 illustrating syllabus, exam patterns and marking systems etc. A detailed instruction of Library uses was introduced to the students by Mrs. CL. Lalchhingpuii, Librarian of the College. Disciplinary and other related things in the college premises has been discuss by Mrs. Lalawmpuii, Asst. Professor, Department of Education and Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee. Speech on Campus life, manners and etiquette for students has delivered by Dr. C. Vanengmawii, Asst. Professor, Department of Education. Awareness on Mission Katharos was conducted by Dr. Lalrinpuia Vangchhia, Asst. professor, Department of Geography. He also highlight NIELIT study center of the College and overview National Cadet Corps , features and its benefits. Dr. Samuel R. Vanlalruata, faculty in charge of Youth Adventure Club presented salient features of Youth Adventure Club. He has a report showing recent activities done by Youth Adventure Club of the College. A brief outline and activities of NSS has been discuss by Mr. David Laltanpuia Hmar, the former NSS Program Officer and District Nodal Officer. Dr. K. Lalzuimawia, Faculty In charge of Eco Club delivered a speech on major activities and significance of Eco Club. The function was ended with delivering of a vote of thanks by Dr. Zothanpuii, Asst. Professor, Department of History and Secretary of the Curricular Aspect Cell. The orientation Program was attended by all the students from I semester and students from III and V semester students successfully.
