Government Hnahthial College Staff Welfare Committee showed Condolence contributions towards the family of Sir John Malsawmtluanga Colney on 24^th April 2025 at the College Auditorium. Sir John joined Government Hnahthial College on 29^th September, 2015 as an Assistant Professor in the department of Political Science till he passed away on 11^th April, 2025. Mr. FB Vanlalruata, Vice Chairman of the Staff Welfare Committee, chaired the function. Condolence speeches have been delivered by Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal of the College, and Mr. David Laltanpuia Hmar, Colleagues of Sir John, to sympathize with Sir John's Family. Mrs. R. Lalchhuanmawii, Sir John's wife, thankfully spoke about arranging the condolence program in the College. Mrs. Lalawmpuii Pachuau, Treasurer of the College Staff Welfare Committee, handed over a condolence contribution to Sir John’s Wife. Sir John’s family also donated a valuable memorial gift to the College. Sir Lalmalsawma, Asst. Professor, Department of Economics, has presented a memorial slide video briefly highlighting the contribution made by Sir John during his services.
