Govt. Hnahthial College Staff Retreat and Meeting was held on 19 January 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Principal’s Chamber. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal.The meeting began with a devotion led by Dr. Samuel R. Vanlalruata, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography. Following this, Miss Lalawmpuii Pachuau, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, presented the Golden Jubilee Report. She informed the members that the current balance of the Golden Jubilee Fund stands at ₹1,40,250, accumulated over the past two years. Under the agenda of Award and Felicitation, Ms. Catherine Lalrodingi, Assistant Professor, Department of English, highlighted the donations received and acknowledged the donors. She reported that the current balance of the fund is ₹80,000. Subsequently, Dr. K. Lalzuimawia, IQAC Coordinator, presented a brief report on the upcoming NAAC Assessment scheduled for 2027. He emphasized the importance of the AQAR (Annual Quality Assurance Report) and informed the members about the new AQAR assessment system adopted by NAAC. Thereafter, Mr. R. Lalngaihawma presented a report on the upcoming seminar to be organised by the Entrepreneurship Knowledge Cell (EKC), Govt. Hnahthial College, outlining its objectives and proposed activities. The meeting was followed by a session of the Staff Welfare Committee, which was hosted by Mrs. Lalremsiami, Chairperson, Staff Welfare Committee, Govt. Hnahthial College. During this session, Mrs. Lalawmpuii Pachuau presented a report on the Staff Welfare Fund, detailing the contributions made by all welfare committee members. Refreshment was served and the meeting concluded with a note of appreciation to all participants for their active involvement and cooperation.
