The first Staff Meeting of Govt. Hnahthial College for the Academic Session 2026–2027 was held on 10th July 2026 at the Principal’s Office. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal, and began with a devotional programme led by Mrs. L. Chhingpuii, Librarian.

During the meeting, reports on various college activities and responsibilities were presented by the concerned staff members. Sir Eric Zonunmawia presented a report on the College Excursion, while Mrs. Zosangliani reported on the student admission process for the new academic session. Dr. Lalrinpuia Vangchhia presented a report on the admission of students to the Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels, renovation works carried out in the hostels, and a meeting with the Hon’ble MLA, Pu Jeje Lalpekhlua, regarding matters related to the College.

The Principal formally introduced and warmly welcomed two newly appointed faculty members, Mr. RVL Thianghlima and Mr. Malsawmsanga, to the College community. The meeting also discussed various academic and administrative activities, responsibilities, and tasks to be undertaken during the new semester.

The meeting concluded with a focus on cooperation, shared responsibility, and active participation from all staff to support the smooth functioning and overall development of Govt. Hnahthial College during the Academic Session 2026–2027.
