Government Hnahthial College conducted a Bridge Course Programme on 15th July 2026 at 1:00 p.m. for newly admitted students. The programme aimed to bridge the gap between school and college education by familiarizing students with the academic system, learning methods, and institutional expectations. Faculty members introduced the students to the curriculum, examination pattern, classroom practices, attendance requirements, and essential study skills necessary for higher education. Students were also encouraged to actively participate in academic, co-curricular, and extension activities to enhance their overall development.

The Bridge Course was organized department-wise, with each department conducting separate sessions in their respective classrooms. Faculty members interacted closely with the freshers, introducing them to their respective disciplines, course structure, career opportunities, and departmental activities. The interactive sessions enabled students to clarify their doubts and become acquainted with their teachers and classmates.

The programme concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from the newly admitted students. It helped them gain confidence, develop a better understanding of college life, and prepare for a smooth and successful transition into higher education.
