The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Curricular Aspect Cell of Government Hnahthial College successfully organized a Parents-Teachers Meeting on 12th September 2025. The meeting took place in the College Auditorium and was chaired by Mr. Vanlalrova Varte, Secretary of the Curricular Aspect Cell.
The programme began with a welcome address by the Principal, Mr. Lalsiamthanga, who warmly greeted all attending parents and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the college and parents for student success. Following the welcome speech, Mr. R. Lalngaihawma, Secretary of the Examination Department, delivered a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the key features of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. He also provided an overview of the students' current academic status, based on the First Continuous Assessment Test results and attendance records. In addition, he introduced the various awards and academic schemes offered by the college to support and encourage student performance.
An important part of the meeting was the election of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) for the term 2025–2027, conducted by Mrs. Lalawmpuii Sailo, Chairperson of the Curricular Aspect Cell. The following members were elected:

In the afternoon session, parents had the opportunity to engage in department-wise interactions with the faculty. These one-on-one discussions focused on each student's academic performance, class attendance, and general behavior. Faculty and parents also exchanged views and discussed challenges, with a shared goal of supporting and uplifting students both academically and personally.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, reinforcing the commitment of the college to work hand-in-hand with parents to ensure the holistic development of its students.
