An Outreach Legal Awareness Campaign under NASLSA ( Child-Friendly Legal Service for Children) was organised jointly by District Legal Service Authority, Lunglei and Government Hnahthial College at the Auditorium of Government Hnahthial College on 28 August 2026 at 11:30 A.M, attended by faculties and students from all semesters. 

The Programme was chaired by  Mr. Eric Zonunmawia and the resource person Pi Lalthansiami Hnamte, (Mizoram Judicial Service), gave legal awareness on various topics such as working of Lok Adalat in District level, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse", child protection, women protection, awareness on extortions both physical and mental, laws pertaining to usage of Internet and mass communication, cyber bullying etc. The resource person also opens time for any question regarding legal aids, gave details and contact to the students and faculties such that there is any need to avail legal aids. They also provide the attendees with lunch.
