A one-day workshop on “New Criminal Laws in India” was jointly organized by the Institutional Values & Best Practices Cell and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee, Govt. Hnahthial College on 31^st July 2024 at 01.20 pm in the College Auditorium. Mr. Beimosia Lapi (MPS), Addl. Superintendent of Police, Hnahthial was the resource person. All the students, faculty, and staff attend the program. The resource person had a presentation on the recently enacted three new criminal laws in India such as Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA). The students, faculty and staff were benefitted by the resource person’s presentation. The program was chaired by Ms. Lalzarzovi, Asst. Professor, Department of Mizo, Secretary, Prevention of Sexual Harassment   Committee, Govt. Hnahthial College. Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal of the College delivered a welcome speech. The function was over with a vote of thanks from Dr. C. Vanengmawii, Asst. Professor, Department of Education, Chairman, Institutional Values &    Best Practices Cell, Govt. Hnahthial College.
