A one-day training on Service Matters was jointly organised by the IQAC and the Governance, Leadership and Management Cell, Govt. Hnahthial College on 6th March, 2026 in the College Seminar Hall. Mrs. Lalremsiami, Associate Professor, Department of History, Govt. Hnahthial College chaired the programme. Mr. Ellis Pachuau, Audit & Accounts Officer, Accounts & Treasuries, Southern Zone, Lunglei, served as the resource person. He delivered presentations on various important topics, including Office Procedures, Conduct Rules and Leave Rules, Pay Fixation and Allowances, Pension Rules (OPS & NPS), and the Maintenance of Service Records, Family Declaration, and Nomination. Interaction sessions were also held after each topic, allowing participants to clarify their doubts and engage in discussion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal of the College. The training was attended by teaching, non-teaching, and library staff of the College.
