International Development Week 2026 was jointly observed by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit of Government Hnahthial College on 6th February 2026 at the College Auditorium. As part of the observation, a debate competition was organised for students on the theme “Prosperity through Partnership.” A total of 85 students attended the programme, with two students from each semester participating in the debate competition. Seven faculty members actively supported the programme by serving as judges and delivering speeches. Dr. Lalrinpuia Vangchhia, Care Taker Officer, NCC Unit, Government Hnahthial College, moderated the programme. The event was conducted successfully and concluded with refreshments.
The results of the debate competition were as follows:
1st Position: Linda T. Zothanmawii – II Semester
2nd Position: Lalremsangpuia – VI Semester
3rd Position: Vanlalhmangaiha – IV Semester
