The much-anticipated Annual College Week 2025 of Government Hnahthial College was officially inaugurated on 15th September 2025 at 10:00 AM at the HDA Turf Ground, Hnahthial. The event began with great enthusiasm and a spirit of unity among students, faculty, and staff.

The opening function was chaired by Mr. Lalmalsawma Hnamte, Games and Sports Secretary of the Government Hnahthial College Students’ Union. The event commenced with a moment of devotion led by Mr. M. Lalthlamuanpuia, Leader of the College Evangelical Union, setting a solemn and inspirational tone for the occasion.

Following the devotion, the students' oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Mr. Lalhmangaiha, Assistant Games & Sports Secretary, where participants pledged to uphold sportsmanship, discipline, and active participation throughout the week.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal of Government Hnahthial College, expressed his appreciation for the collective efforts of the Students’ Union and faculty in organizing the event. He encouraged students to make the most of the week through active involvement in both academic and extracurricular activities. With a few motivating words, he officially declared the College Week 2025 open.

The College Week, scheduled from 15th to 19th September 2025, will feature a wide array of sports, literary, and cultural competitions, aimed at fostering camaraderie, talent, and holistic student development.
