The department of History, Govt. Hnahthial College have conducted field work at Khawhri and Tarpho Village on 15^th March, 2024.  The main objective of the field survey was to gather documents and necessary information with Pu Zakapa, to interact with the village peoples to discuss the history of Pu Zakapa, to visit the various places relating with Pu Zakapa and his resistance to colonialism during the last decade of the 19^th century. The field visit was lead by Dr. K. Lalzuimawia, Asst. Professor, Department of History. Students of the department and faculty of the College takes parts in the visit.
