on 13th October, 2023, District Election Office, Hnahthial has conducted Essay Writing Competition for Government Hnahthial College students. The programme was under the scheme of Systematic Voter's Education & Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign. The programme was conducted by Dr. Lalrinpuia Vangchhia Nodal Officer  and Dr. C. Hmingsangzuala, Asst. Nodal Officer, Electoral Literacy Club, Govt. Hnahthial College. The total 58 students turned out for the competition. The Competition theme was "Democracy a Vote thlak pawimawhna" (the local language). The result will be declared on 16th October, 2023.
