On 2nd August 2022, Mr. Lalremruata Sailo (MCS), District Urban Development Officer, Hnahthial District officially declared Govt. Hnahthial Colleg as Single Use Plastic Free Campus. Certificate was given to Mr. K. Lalsangluaia, College Principal. Awareness campaign on Single Use Plastic Free Office was also organized on the same day. Mr. Obeda Lalhuliana, District Sanitation Inspector has deliver a speech on Single Use Plastic Free and highlight the current situation of the district and Mizoram.
