On 6^th March, 2024, awareness on water Conservation Cum House to House Campaign under Mission Life was conducted by Mizoram Pollution Control Board in collaboration with Eco Club, Govt. Hnahthial College and Public Health Engineering Department, Hnahthial Division at Aithur Village. The main theme of the awareness was "Save Water".Forest Range Officer, Lunglei Forest Division Mr. Lalzarliana has enlightened the audiences with the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 & the Arms Act and its related issues. This was followed by motivational speech from Dr. K. Lalzuimawia, Honorary Wildlife Warden. The programme was continued with interaction programme. Discussion have been made by village represents as well as the district represent from Media personnel, Police department, prominent citizens, environmentalist and academicians from Hnahthial. The programme was attended by leaders of Village Council, Young Mizo Association (YMA), Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl (MHIP), Teachers from Schools represents from the village. House to House campaign have been conducted in the village to aware safe water through distribution of pump ledge prepared by PHED, Hnahthial Division.
