On 6^th April, 2024, Govt. Hnahthial College Sports was jointly organized by Boys and Girls Hostel, Govt. Hnahthial College at the College campus. The inaugural function was conducted at the Boys Hostel at 10:30 am. Mr. Lalsiamthanga, Principal of the College was the chief Guest in the function. Mr. R. Lalngaihawma, Warden, Girls Hostel chaired the inaugural function. Technical reports has given by Dr. Lalrinpuia Vangchhia, Warden, Boys Hostel. Sir, Vanlalrova Varte, Programme Officer of NSS, Govt. Hnahthial College has deliver short speech on motivation of the Hostel boarders in every way of life. Vote of thanks and oath taking was proposed by Dr. C. Hmingsangzuala, Asst. Warden, Boys Hostel. Then the sports was kick off by the chief guest. The sports was conducted for the day and night.  All the boys and girls hosteller were grouped into two groups viz. The Alkatra and The Ringthar and they have done competition in the 15 outdoor items and 7 indoor items. The Ringthar group won the overall competition. Miss Jeff was selected as Hostel Miss 2024.
